這首歌的創作來源，是描述James楊永聰與從小帶著他長大祖父相處的最後那一天，他們一起開著他的車載他去去看海的故事。
他們在老舊的車子上，平淡無奇的像往常那般閒晃著，一邊閒聊，一邊瞎胡鬧，對話的內容、互動的方式並不特別，但如今回頭一看，卻是那麼完美的一天 ─ 當時彼此心裡都明白，這可能是最後一次見面，但是卻能用彼此最熟悉的方式共度，相互陪伴，將彼此共同的回憶，永不走味的封存在那一天，沒有比這更完美的一天了。
即使從此以後，這個人再也找不到了，但在最後的記憶裡，還是能找到彼此之間最熟悉的情感。那記憶裡的畫面，不浮誇、不矯飾，卻能永遠在心裡長存，不斷回放。
